OUR FAMILY
Establshed on August 25, 1967 in the state GA using the name Delta Gamma Inc, by friends of the military and those in military forces who had several things in common.
1.) God being the center of their lives.
2) Respect for the military and those who serve in it.
3) And an agreement that community service is the best way to pay to forward!
After years of being in existance the locals in Dublin GA along with members who by this time have spread to many other cities and states and learned that another organization existed using the same greek letters. Because of this knowledge the Executive Board and Chapter Presidents put the future of the organization up for a vote. Do you continue in what you know or change the basis of all you know? After the vote was made it was evident that the future of Delta Gamma would be a strong one, but how do you move forward, well the answer is you MOVE! So in August 2013 What was once known as Delta Gamma Inc. became Delta Gamma Mu Christian Co-ed Fraternity Inc. now having members in the following states Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, and New York.
OUR DIVISIONS
Delta Gamma Mu National Service Co-Ed Fraternity Inc., is comprised of a brotherhood, and a sisterhood.
Delta Gamma Mu Fraternity, Delta Gamma Mu Sorority and Delta Gamma Mu Co-Ed which also covers the specialized chapters like medical professionals, Master Cosmetology & Barbers along with others, all working together as one; separate jobs but one goal of helping our community!
Each of our groups has a governing body of leaders who work together in the spirit of UNITY in making organizational decisions.
HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST?
Like many Greek Letter Organizations education is very important to us, but unlike them we were not established on a college campus. Education with no heart for people or your community makes us the wrong fit for you! No four year or even two-year degree is required but having a sincere love for God, helping those who can't help themselves, and honoring those who fight to give us the freedoms we have today (make us a perfect fit for you)!
